FIELD: chemistry of peptides, microbiology, biotechnology. ^ SUBSTANCE: L-alanyl-L-glutamine is prepared by incubation of a mixture containing a microorganism able to produce L-alanyl-L-glutamine from L-alanine ester and L-glutamine, L-alanine ester and L-glutamine, and isolation of the end product. Using the invention allows simplifying the process for preparing L-alanyl-L-glutamine.
