FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: sector clutch of free running comprises outer member (2), inner member (3), and a set of spring-loaded wedging mechanisms arranged between the members. The wedging mechanism has lever (6), sector (8), and spring (9) that causes sector (8) to be in a contact with and to slide over the inner side of outer member (2). Sector (8) is pivotally connected with lever (6). The inner member is made of two rigidly interconnected disks. Lever (6) whose one end is pivotally connected with sector (8) and other end, with the inner member, is interposed between the disks. ^ EFFECT: simplified structure and enhanced load-bearing capabilities. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg
