FIELD: rock cutting equipment, particularly flushing units for cone bits. ^ SUBSTANCE: flushing unit comprises nozzle with stepped outer surface and sealing member, which are retained in cone bit body socket by means of stop member. The stop member is installed on nozzle step having lesser diameter. The stop member is made as split spring ring, side walls of flushing channel are provided with corresponding annular bore. Inner and outer diameters of spring ring in closed state are smaller than outer diameter of lesser nozzle stage and greater than socket diameter correspondingly. Nozzle height is less than socket height defined from upper annular bore end to socket bottom. Flushing unit is provided with protective bush having outlet part located in nozzle inlet. Protective bush may be fixedly connected to the body or slidably arranged in channel. ^ EFFECT: simplified structure and reduced drilling bit costs. ^ 3 dwg
