FIELD: medicine, oncology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with local chemotherapy of malignant cerebral tumors. Thus, after removing the tumor one should apply a collagen hemostatic sponge with a cavity inside it with a powder-like chemopreparation into tumor's bed, then the cavity should be covered with another fragment of collagen sponge. The innovation enables to minimize toxic manifestations of chemotherapy at applying maximal concentration of anti-tumor preparation. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 6 dwg, 2 ex
