FIELD: antenna engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: novelty is that matching device of proposed director antenna is made in the form of coaxial transformer provided with central conductor assembled of series-connected rods different in diameter and length which are disposed in internal space of slit-type balancing device. Proposed antenna incorporates provision for separate adjustment of antenna directivity pattern and traveling-wave ratio. Equations for calculating dimensions of matching device components suited to director antenna incorporating three directors are given in invention specification. ^ EFFECT: facilitated adjustment and enlarged operating frequency band of antenna. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg
