FIELD: computer science. ^ SUBSTANCE: device contains commutation level and data processing level, commutation level is formed by computing machines for commutation, and processing level is formed by computing machines for processing. In accordance to method, one commutation computing machine periodically sends control signals to other commutation computing machine and in case of absence of control signal from this commutation computing machine during given time period, erratic functioning of this commutation computing machine is detected, after that, commutation computing machine responsible for detecting erratic functioning, starts execution of functions, normally performed by commutation computing machine, for which erratic functioning was detected. ^ EFFECT: realization of method and fault-tolerant computing device, which provides for detection of erratic functioning of commutating processor. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
