FIELD: equipment for drying outer surfaces of articles during transportation thereof on conveyor. ^ SUBSTANCE: drying apparatus for removal of moisture from articles movable on conveyor comprises housing mounted on drying part of conveyor so as to surround articles movable along drying part of conveyor. Pair of converging guiding bars at inlet end of drying apparatus housing are adjustably mounted so that articles reaching said housing come into contact and rotate upon insertion thereof into housing. Sets of air ejectors arranged in housing of drying apparatus direct air flows from both sides of conveyor onto articles for forcing air away from their surfaces. Housing has drain water collectors arranged in its base and air removal hoods arranged above sets of air ejectors for catching and removal of forced away water from housing. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in removal of residual surface moisture from the entire outer surface of articles. ^ 16 cl, 6 dwg
