FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying variable force to a tooth. Harmonic mechanical oscillations of frequency not exceeding 250 Hz are excited. Mechanical impedance Z is concurrently measured. Lower limit of changes shows extreme tooth looseness degree. The upper limit of changes shows physiologic tooth looseness degree.
