A pharmaceutical aerosol formulation to be administered by pressurized metered dose inhalers which comprises an active ingredient selected from a 2 (1H)-quinolinone derivative long acting 2-agonist of formula wherein R1-R6 and n have the values indicated in the claims, liquefied HFA propellant, a co-solvent, and optionally an amount of water up to 5% on the total weight of the formulation; said compound is useful for treatment of respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
