<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean a blowout port even in a state that guard wires are mounted on the blowout port for preventing fingers and a hand from being inserted from the blowout port and injured by a blower in a unit. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner comprises horizontal louvers 9 for changing and controlling the blowing-out direction of the air in the vertical direction, and vertical louvers 10 for changing and controlling the blowing-out direction in the lateral direction, on its air blowout port 4.
