FIELD: road building, particularly devices used for road construction and repair. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises frame, kettle with flap opening lever installed on the frame and adapted to discharge bitumen. The kettle is provided with stirring means having removable handle. Device also has cylinder with reducer and gas burners adapted for kettle heating. Control arm with slide formed as U-shaped frame member is additionally installed on the frame. The U-shaped member ends are provided with travel limiters. Front travel limiter is installed on transversal slide wall having recess in lower part thereof to impart optimal shape to pavement joint. Rear travel limiter is installed on one longitudinal slide wall. Extension means are arranged along walls and are located from tops thereof. Control arm includes handle, two crossbars having holes for burner installation and is connected with slide by means of non-full-turning hinge assembly. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and quality of cracks and joints filled with bitumen due to improved uniformity of bitumen distribution. ^ 6 dwg
