<p>A polypropylene-based binder containing 5-50 wt% of a mixture (A) of 5-100 wt% of a mixture of 80-20 wt% metallocene-polyethylene and 20-80 wt% non-metallocene LLDPE, co-grafted with unsaturated carboxylic acid (30-10 5>ppm in A), such that (A) shows an MFI (190/2.16) of 0.1-30 g/10 min, plus 95-0 wt% polyethylene (homo- or co-polymer or elastomer). A binder composition (I) comprising 5-50 wt% of a mixture (A) containing 5-100 wt% of a mixture of polymers consisting of (C1) 80-20 wt% metallocene-polyethylene with a density of 0.865-0.915 and (C2) 20-80 wt% non-metallocene LLDPE, the mixture being grafted with (G) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a functional derivative thereof, and (D) 95-0 wt% polyethylene selected from homo- or co-polymers and elastomers, mixture (A) being such that the content of grafted monomer (G) is 30-10 5>ppm and the MFI (190/2.16) value is 0.1-30 g/10 min, plus 50-95 wt% of a polypropylene homo- or co-polymer. Independent claims are also included for (1) a multilayer stucture containing a layer (2) of (I) (2) film comprising a multilayer structure as above (3) film comprising a printed layer of biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) or polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) and a metallised multilayer film as above (optionally biaxially-oriented), applied by means of an adhesive with the metallised layer (1) directly on the printed layer (4) objects containing a multilayer structure as above (5) objects made with film as above .</p> |
