<p>The apparatus includes a laser diode emitting a laser beam in a specified band. Several types of rectangular calibration pulse current are applied to the laser diode and average laser output value of each pulse current is measured. When the laser beam is output external to the apparatus, a pulse current predicted according to determined average output value is applied to laser diode, to output desired laser beam.</p> |
