Composition useful for diagnostic and treatment of animals and preparation of animal care products

Two part composition (I) for diagnosis and treatment of companion animals comprises: (a) a non-foaming base suitable for topical application and/or skin treatment; and (b) a concentrated active preparation with reduced activity which acquires full activity due to a change of pH (particularly at pH 6-7) where the composition pH is adjusted between 5 and 8 using a buffer. The active agent is itself pre-mixed with foaming agent and optionally an emulsifier, and (a) and (b) are combined to prepare the treatment formulation.
