PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition excellent in fuel oil resistance, impact resistance at low temperatures and heat resistance and also excellent in affinity or adhesive properties to various synthetic resin materials or metal materials such as aluminum or iron. SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition comprises 65-95 wt% of (C) a modified polyethylene resin comprised of 100-80 wt% of (A') a modified high-density polyethylene resin obtained by modifying a high-density polyethylene resin having a density of 0.94-0.97 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, an MFR of 0.01-30 g/10 min and a viscosity curve index FCI satisfying the equation: FCI≤-0.063×log(MFR)+1.10 and 0-20 wt% of (B') a modified polyethylene resin obtained by modifying a polyethylene resin having a density of at least 0.91 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and an MFR of 0.01-10 g/10 min, and 35-5 wt% of (D) a linear very low-density polyethylene resin having a density of 0.87-0.91 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and an MFR of 0.01-30 g/10 min.
