PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging and conveying device which can be smoothly passed through even an sharp bend section of a hanger rail, and enhance the durability of a connection part between a hoist and a driving device. SOLUTION: A hoist 2 movable along a stretched hanger rail 1 suspended, a driving device 3 for traveling drive, and a brake device 4 are connected to each other. In the driving device 3, a magnet belt 12 is stretched around a driving sprocket 10 and a driven sprocket 11, and attracted by the hanger rail 1, and the driving sprocket 10 is driven for traveling by a drive motor 13. A spherical bearing 23 is provided on a connection part between the hoist 2 and an emergency brake device 4 and the driving device 3. A spherical body 26 movable on a connection shaft 25 in the transverse direction is also provided. The connection part between the driving device 3, the hoist 2 and the emergency brake device 4 freely permits the relative angular displacement therebetween in the vertical and right-to-left direction by the spherical body 26 and the spherical bearing 23, and does not impair the motion of the partner components.
