<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute data transfer processing required to store data without making a user feel a decrease in usage feeling in using both a high-speed volatile storage device and a low-speed nonvolatile storage device. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU for controlling a barcode handy terminal (BHT) executes data transfer processing to a flash memory in the case of the existence of untransferred data on a RAM ("YES" in step S6) (step S7) when a predetermined transfer start event occurs ("YES" in step S3). Then, a satisfactory usage feeling is provided by avoiding giving a user processing sluggishness as much as possible which is caused because the data transfer processing is performed, so that response to a BHT operation is delayed when the user operates the BHT operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
