<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To invent a real image formation method irrespective of the principle of hologram and stereogram in order to provide a "stereoscopic display without spectacles" which does not cause physiological discrepancy. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of "illuminants 4", and "light diffusers 3" consisting of "photoinduction sections 10" respectively connected thereto are arranged in areas corresponding to respective pixels on a display screen and the real image is created by projecting a plurality of rays to one point of the space in front of the screen from the top of the display screen. A virtual image is created by projecting the rays so as to emit from one point at the back of the screen.
