<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of reliably detecting the position and the speed of an elevator car even when the elevating/lowering stroke is long. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator device comprises an elevator car 5 elevating/lowering in a hoistway 10 along a guide rail 9, a governor 2 connected to the elevator car 5 via a governor rope 3, and a governor tensioner 4 provided on a lower end of the governor rope 3. A first pulse generator 1 is connected to the governor 2, and a second pulse generator 1a is connected to the governor tensioner 4. The signals from the first and second pulse generators 1, 1a are transmitted to a control device 8, and the position and the speed of the elevator car 5 can be obtained by the control device 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
