<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal display device in which the deformation of a photospacer due to load is suppressed even when the photospacer comprises a laminated layer of color layers formed on a black matrix and a photospacer layer formed on the laminated layer and color unevenness does not occur and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The photospacer 14 is formed by laminating the color layer 12R , a transparent conductive layer 13 and the photospacer layer PS successively on a black matrix 11. The color layer is formed from the same material as a material used for the formation of a color pixel, is formed at the same time as the formation of the color pixel and has a through hole at the center part and the photospacer layer is formed so that an orientation control projection 73 is formed from the same material as a material used for the formation of the photospacer and simultaneously the through hole is filled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
