PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize location of a store safely and intuitively during traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This information providing device is equipped with an acquisition part 201 for acquiring alarm information on the traveling of the vehicle, an extraction part 202 for extracting location information of a store correlated with the alarm information acquired by the acquisition part 201 from inside map information, a display part 203 for displaying the map information on a display screen, and a display control part 204 for displaying emphatically display information of the store based on the location information of the store extracted by the extraction part 202 by controlling the display screen. In the information providing device, for example, the display information of the store is displayed on the display screen by enhancing furthermore than display information of other stores by the display control part 204.
