PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve S/N ratio after synthesis by simplifying circuit configuration in a diversity receiver. SOLUTION: The diversity receiver 10 comprises branches A, B corresponding to a plurality of antennas 11, 12 disposed spatially apart each other, and outputs a reception signal received in every branch after synthesis. IF signals between branches are synthesized after noise levels in the reception signal received in every branch are made as the same level after controlling RF AGCs 21, 31 and IF AGCs 25, 35 by level detectors 26, 36.
