PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which enables a user to easily operate a main body key, in the case that he/she uses the main body key instead of a remote controller key when he/she loses the remote controller or a remote controller breaks down, and performs various functions of the remote controller without an increase in cost. SOLUTION: When a STOP key is pressed down a plurality of times in a state that the PLAY key of a main body operation part is continued to be pressed down, the number of times of pressing down is counted. When the PLAY key is released and a count value is zero, original functions of the PLAY key are fixed. When the count value is not zero, a key code corresponding to the count value is extracted from a table, and functions of a remote controller which the key code indicates are fixed to the PLAY key of the main body operation part.
