PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a suction pipe and a discharge pipe at a pump at a low cost while preventing the deformation of a front plate without applying excessive force or the like to the front plate. SOLUTION: In this air pump, the front plate 141 is provided with a discharge plate 171 having the suction pipe 172 communicating with a suction port 143, and the discharge pipe 173 communicating with a discharge port 144. The suction pipe 172 and the discharge pipe 173 can thereby be formed at the pump without applying excessive force to the front plate 141 by fixing the discharge plate 171 to the front plate 141 by thread fastening or the like.
