PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing cage for small animal in which the urine is absorbed into fully ripen compost and the odorous components are decomposed by the operation of the microorganisms living in the compost in no need of the compost replacement for a long period of time, further the used compost can be easily exchanged and further causing no scatter of urene around the cage, when a small male dog is kept indoor. SOLUTION: A water-passing plate 3 composed of a panting plate is arranged at the upper end of the box type vessel 2 having an opening on the top end and the fully ripen compost 7 is received in the vessel 2 under the floor plate 3 and a fence-like surrounding frame 4 is attached along the periphery of the vessel 2 or the floor plate 3.
