The invention relates to a window for a motor vehicle comprising a window pane delimited by an external peripheral edge and a window frame encompassing at least partially the window pane along the external edge thereof and forms therewith a door module which is preassemblable outside of the motor vehicle. According to said invention, the window frame (2) is constructed and provided for in such a way that it is fixable to a frame (31, 32, 33) of the motor vehicle, on the body side, which bounds the window pane (1) at the level of at least two remote from each other border parts (11, 12, 13).
