<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide brake piping of a trailer structured so that the whole length of its air piping for braking is prolonged, whereby capable of enhancing the responsiveness of brake. <P>SOLUTION: An electrically controlled air pressure sensor 82 emits an electrical control signal for an EBS modulator 52 for controlling the amount of the air supplied from an air tank 50 mounted on the trailer 10 to brake chambers 46-49 of the trailer 10. The air pressure sensor 82 is installed in the neighborhood of the connection part (air hose coupling 40) of an extension hose 24 for the control line with a tractor. The extension hose 24 for the control line is formed with a smaller bore than the bore of an extension hose 22 for the supply line, which enables quickly sensing a pressure rise in the control air inside the control line made by the air pressure sensor 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
