<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage composition reducing irritant acidic taste of acetic acid forming a main ingredient of vinegar, having favorable acidic taste, and easy to drink. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage composition is obtained by including glutamic acid and/or its salt, sugar alcohol (preferably erythritol or xylitol), and a sweetener with a high sweetness (preferably sucralose or acesulfame kalium) to acetic acid (preferably vinegar). It is particularly preferable that mass ratio of acetic acid to glutamic acid (glutamate) each in the beverage composition is 1:0.0002 to 1:5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
