<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage composition reducing irritant acidic taste of acetic acid forming a main ingredient of vinegar, having favorable acidic taste, and easy to drink. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage composition is obtained by including glutamic acid and/or its salt, sugar alcohol (preferably erythritol or xylitol), and a sweetener with a high sweetness (preferably sucralose or acesulfame kalium) to acetic acid (preferably vinegar).
