<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating having excellent curability and processability as the coating and capable of forming a film excellent in hygienic properties by preventing bisphenol A from eluting out of the film, and to provide a coating composition especially suitable as the coating for an inner face of a can or an outer face of the can. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous coating contains (A) a polyester resin in an amount of 30-40 wt%, (B) an acrylic resin in an amount of 5-20 wt%, and (C) an amino resin in an amount of 50-60 wt% as resin components, and further contains (D) high-melting point wax in an amount of 1.3-2.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the components (A) to (C) in total. A method for printing an aluminum can comprises printing the outer face of the aluminum can with the coating and then curing the coating at 150-210°C for 20-45 sec (30 sec).
