<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a game player to intuitively and concretely recognize an increase in expectation to the generation of a big prize in a game of a pinball game machine. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern data storage means 51 stores the whole pattern data having the possibility of being stopped and displayed on a pattern display means 60. Some or whole of the pattern data are stored in a reference display data storing means 43. A reference display means 24 displays a reference display pattern on the pattern display means 60 according to the stored reference display data. A pattern exception means 25 selects exception data from the reference display data. The selected exception data is excluded from the reference display data by a reference display data updating means 27.
