<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing an input for selectively changing a performance mode during a variable display as well as a standby screen. <P>SOLUTION: This Pachinko machine is provided with a performance mode change input means selectively changing either of a plurality of game performance modes 1-3 by a manual input operation. A display control device of this Pachinko machine is provided with a performance mode updating means updating storage contents of a performance mode storage means according to a mode selection signal from the game performance mode change input means, and a means for activating the performance mode updating means during a high-speed variation period of a first symbol row Z1.
