PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of drawing a route line so as to follow a topography as much as possible. SOLUTION: A route characteristic point altitude acquisition part 8e acquires information on the height at a position on the route by using 3D polygon data, and a route drawing position determination part 8f determines a drawing position of the route line drawn on a three-dimensional map from the information on the acquired route height.
