PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift mechanism of a transmission preventing a mass damper from interfering with external parts. SOLUTION: This shift mechanism 1 of the transmission comprises: a case 10 having an internal space 11; a shift select lever 60 stored in the internal space 11; an outer lever 20 installed on the outside of the case 10 and connected to the shift select lever 60 so as to be rotated; and the mass damper 50 stored in the internal space 11 and rotated in association with the outer lever 20.
