LIGHT INTENSITY DETECTOR FOR BACK LIGHT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light intensity detector for a back light in which the detection sensitivity of light intensity of the back light can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A reflecting plate 5 of the back light 1 is provided with a plurality of holes 51 and an optical sensor 6 is provided behind the plurality of the holes 51. The optical sensor 6 constitutes the light intensity detector for the back light together with the plurality of the holes 51. An acceptance surface 61 of the optical sensor 6 is arranged toward the plurality of the holes 51 and is formed so as to collectively receive the light of the light source emitted from a light transmission plate 3 and leaking out of the plurality of the holes 51. The optical sensor 6 is constituted to detect the light intensity from the light of the light source received by the acceptance surface 61. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
