PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground tester that can measure over a wide range of ground resistors by means of a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A first switch S1, an internal resistor Rs and a second switch S2 are connected in series, and set between first and second signal lines L1, L2 parallel to a line power supply 50. The ground resistors Rx1, Rx2 of the first and second signal lines L1, L2 are found by using a reference voltage defined based on a voltage applied from the line power supply 50 to the internal resistor Rs. A first close circuit 41 including the earth resistor Rx1 and a second close circuit including the ground resistor Rx2 are formed by switching the switches S1, S2, and the ground resistors Rx1, Rx2 are measured. An observation power supply conventionally required is eliminated, and a structure is simplified and easily carried. The ground resistors are widely and easily measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
