PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of a servo amplifier for an electric injection molding machine capable of sufficiently carrying out cooling by a small device, and having no problems such as electric leakage, or shorting due to dew drop. SOLUTION: The cooling device of the servo amplifier for the electric injection molding machine is composed of a cooling plate 1 made of aluminum alloy attached with IGBTs (E, K, S, etc.), a reserve tank 10 for cooling liquid storage, a pump 8 carrying out force feed of a predetermined amount of cooling liquid in the reserve tank 10 to the cooling plate 1, and a heat exchanger 30 cooling the cooling liquid by cold water. A flow rate of the cold water sent to the heat exchanger 30 is controlled such that a difference between a temperature of the cooling liquid and an ambient temperature of a neighborhood of the cooling plate 1 does not become 5°C or more.
