PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent resonance generated on a can of a motor-operated valve. SOLUTION: This motor-operated valve 1 comprises a valve body 10 having a valve seat 12 and a valve chest 14, and a valve element 30 is mounted in the valve chest 14. A valve rod 40 for operating the valve element 30 is sealed by a bellows 50. A threaded rod 70 is engaged with a guide member 60 to convert rotating motion into linear motion. An electric motor and a gear reducer are mounted in the metallic cylindrical can 200, and sealed in the can by a plate 90 and a seal member 80. The plate 90 has an opening 300 having a bottom 310.
