HEAT-RESISTANT PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant pipe joint capable of reducing the thermal deterioration and the compressive permanent strain of a seal ring in a heat-resistant specification and excellent in sealing function and locking function. SOLUTION: This heat-resistant pipe joint 1 comprises a socket part 5 for inserting the end part of a pipe P to the end part of a joint body 1. A female screw 6 is formed in the opening end inner periphery of the socket part 5, and an divergent tapered surface 7 is formed at the inner bottom part of the female screw 6 toward the female screw 6 and a seal ring storage recessed part 8 is formed at the inner bottom side of the tapered surface 7. A heat-resistant seal ring 3 is stored in the seal ring storage recessed part 8 so that a space S for allowing expansion can be formed in the clearance thereof from the bottommost part 8a of the seal ring storage recessed part 8. A C-shaped heat-resistant lock ring 4 in press-contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe P by receiving a diameter reducing action by the contact thereof with the tapered surface 7 and a cross sectional elastic deformation action is assembled in the inner periphery of the tapered surface 7. The heat-resistant locking ring 4 having a tilted cutout part 12 is pressed against the tapered surface 7 by the tip part of a pressing ring 2 when the pressing ring 2 is tightened by the female screw 6.
