PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a particulate aggregate with an ordered structure produced in the initial stage of aggregation in a diffusion-limited aggregation process at a high concentration, and to provide a particulate aggregate obtained by the production method. SOLUTION: After a particulate aggregate with an ordered structure is formed using a relatively low particle number concentration in the initial stage of aggregation, using the stabilization action of dispersible particulates represented by smectite, while maintaining the ordered structure by the produced characteristic flocculation form, concentration by phase separation is performed.
