PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foodstuff boiling machine capable of easily lifting a container for storing foodstuffs by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The foodstuff boiling machine M comprises hot-water tubs 5 and 5 for storing boiling water, a container support part 9 for supporting the container Y and a lift device 8 with a lifting rod 82 to which the container support part 9 is connected. The foodstuff boiling machine is structured to move the container support part 9 between a lower position where the foodstuffs in the container Y are immersed in boiling water and an upper position where the foodstuffs are drawn up from the boiling water. The lift device 8 has a cylinder 81 into which the lifting rod 82 is inserted, and a water pressure chamber 86 is formed inside the cylinder 81. The lifting rod 82 is raised with water pressure by feeding water into the water pressure chamber 86 from water-works, and the lifting rod 82 is lowered by draining water from the water pressure chamber 86 and reducing the water pressure.
