摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with a conventional torsion beam type suspension which suffers a restriction about the positional relation relative to the peripheral components of a vehicle and with which it is difficult to accomplish the optimum alignment change. SOLUTION: A left 20L and a right trailing arm 20R are installed separately in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle, and a beam 10 to couple together the two trailing arms 20L and 20R is extended in the width direction of the vehicle and set over between them 20L and 20R. Each trailing arm 20L/20R has a body supporting part 22L/22R at the forefront and a wheel supporting part 26L/26R at the tail, and the left and right ends of the beam 10 are connected rotatably with coupling parts 24L and 24R lying in the middle between the respective trailing arms 20L and 20R. The directions of the rotary shafts X1L and X1R at the left and right ends of the beam 10 are adjusted for setting of the optimum alignment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
