<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image, an image forming apparatus and a developing device used therefor that are adaptable to a small-size copying machine or a printer or a multicolor copying machine requiring the use of a plurality of developing devices and cause no changes in the charging property of toner even when a temperature and humidity environment changes, and therefore, provide stable high picture quality. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming an image is carried out by forming a toner layer on a developer carrier using a single component developing toner stored inside a developing device, transporting the toner layer to a developing zone and developing a latent image formed on a latent image carrier, wherein the method is characterized in that a humidity controlling member is disposed inside the developing device and that the stored toner has 5 to 40 acid value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
