<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying container having a lid once fitted over a container body hard to remove easily. <P>SOLUTION: A flange 23 is formed along the peripheral edge of an upper opening of a bucket body 12, and in addition, a flange enclosure 34 surrounding the flange 23 is formed on a lid 13. A protruding piece 45 formed with a lock pin 46 is formed on the flange enclosure 34. A through-hole 22 for permitting the pin 46 to pass through is formed on a handle 17 (swell 20) on the side of the bucket body 12. While the lid 13 is fitted with the upper opening of the bucket body 12, a flange engaging protrusion formed on the internal surface of the flange enclosure 34 is forcibly engaged with a flange engaging groove 30 formed on the external surface of the flange 23. Then, the lock pin 46 is passed through the through-hole 22 at the same time, and a locking protrusion 48 is locked on the periphery of the through-hole 22.
