<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the security in registration in a personal authentication device performing the personal authentication by registering bioinformation inherent for each person, acquiring the personal bioinformation again in the authentication, and collating them. <P>SOLUTION: This personal authentication device is provided with a keyhole in which a physical key is inserted, and a sensor for detecting the bioinformation such as a vein pattern of a palm, and approves the registration of the bioinformation of a user on condition of satisfying the both that the key is inserted in the keyhole and turned, and the user is authenticated by the personal bioinformation previously registered as an administrator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
