<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus whereby a user can easily confirm a layout of whole images and reflection of the face of the user. <P>SOLUTION: When a program 43 for a photographing system is started on a personal computer 12 and the program shifts to a photographing process, a face extraction circuit 48 is created in a CPU 40. The face extraction circuit 48 reads compressed image data, to be transmitted from a digital camera 10, from a RAM 44 to extract a face of a person in the compressed image data. When the program shifts to the photographing process, the whole images (entire images) 63 represented by the compressed image data and an image of the face (face image) 64 extracted by the face extraction circuit 48 are displayed on a photographing window 60 of a monitor 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
