PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a storage tank with heat insulating properties by means of a smaller number of working man-hours in a shorter period of time. SOLUTION: A wall body, which forms a stored matter storage part of the storage tank, is split into a plurality of segments 10. The wall body is constituted by joining the segments 10 together.
