PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool structure in slitter machining, preventing bending stress in the width direction from being applied to metal foil in taking up an elongated metal foil. SOLUTION: In this spool structure, metal strips 7 formed by slitter-machining a plate material (stainless foil) 2 delivered from a master roll roller 1 into a plurality of belt-like parts are taken up on a spool compound A composed of two or more spool units Aa. The spool unit As includes: two spool plates having a corner R on the circumference; a spacer held between the spool plates; a fixing hole provided in the spool plate; counter bore parts of the same shape disposed on the opposite surfaces of the spool plates; and take-up preparation holes disposed at a space of 180°on each circumference in the spool plates, wherein the counter bore parts are alternately disposed at equal spaces on each circumference in the spool plates.
