PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horny layer peeling apparatus capable of maintaining pressure applied on the skin by an adhesive tape constant. SOLUTION: The horny layer peeling apparatus is used to peel the horny layer of the skin by pressing the apparatus on the skin of a human body. The horny layer peeling apparatus comprises a main body 1, the adhesive tape T having an adhesive surface Ta to be attached to the skin to peel the horny layer, a sliding member 2 arranged on the main body 1 slidably for holding the adhesive tape T, and a pressing means 4 for sliding the sliding member between a pressing position for protruding the adhesive surface Ta of the adhesive tape T from the main body 1 and a waiting position for pulling in the adhesive surface within the main body 1. When the sliding member 2 is in the pressing position, the projecting adhesive surface Ta of the adhesive tape T is pressed on the skin.
