<p>A method for node restart recovery in the General multi-protocol label switching path and this method comprises the following steps. The normal neighbor node receives the HELLO response message from the restart node, then activities the synchronous recovery timer. When the synchronous recovery timer is not overtime, the said normal neighbor node refreshes its status block itself. During the refresh procedure itself, it sends the RSVP message comprising the recovery information to the restart node. The restart node restores its status block based on the RSVP message. When the normal neighbor node and the restart node completes the recovery synchronously or the synchronous recovery timer is overtime, stop the synchronous recovery timer. The utilization of the present invention can insure that the label-switching path can restore correctly after the restart happened to a number of the nodes in the same label-switching path and increase the recovery capability of the control layer in the intelligence optical network.</p> |
