<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a laminate at a shallow skive angle without cutting reinforcing cords when the laminate having a rubber layer and a reinforcing cord layer is cut. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate material is constituted by laminating a plurality of tire parts, each of which includes at least one tire part with a width W reinforced by cords substantially parallel to each other and turned toward a cutting route formed so as to traverse the width W, and arranged so as to get across an anvil. Subsequently, only the rubber layer of the laminate material is cut at a skive angle α which forms a flap and a knife is pushed in through the opening of the flap before the ply layer of the laminate material is cut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
